Winter garden & colors

Helsinki, 3 degrees

Source

As I thought, these four days have passed by like in a blink of an eye. They have been wonderfully relaxing though so this girl can't complain. I spent my last day off with my amazing bf, being outdoors as much as possible. We visited the newly re-opened Winter Garden, which is one of the free sights in Helsinki because it's cared for by the City of Helsinki, and a true oasis of exotic plants since it houses over 200 different plants.

Inside there lays bloom in three rooms. The cactus room is my personal favorite: it's a realm of succulent plants and cacti. Even though we only had about 3 degrees today, inside the air was tropical and hot! We visited the Garden to see the daffodils and tulips it has in Eastertime.

I thought the wreath of willow was gorgeous! It looked so soft! The crocuses on our way home were also delightful!

Lately, I've noticed a lot of colors around: in blossom and clothing, but also in headbands and lips, how inspirational!

Elle Finland presented this spring's hair accessories in the following way..have you seen any of them around?

Colorful lips are all around Helsinki! Here they are presented by Kicks magazine. Strong colors, bright lips and a sense of retro. This playful makeup combines different colors and era's styles. What is your favorite color combination? Blue and fuchsia, green and orange or orange and beige?

  1. Love this other look into Helsinki! So cool! And yes I am so big on lip colours for this spring, I especially love anything orange-toned!

  2. Ihania kuvia.
