Copenhagen: Tivoli

Helsinki, 20 degrees

Life is like a roller coaster, it has it's ups and downs. It's your choice to just scream and enjoy the ride.

This weekend has been super relaxing, exactly what I needed. I actually tried golf for the second time in my life this Saturday, but I'll tell you all about it in a later post. Today I wanted to show you the photos from Copenhagen's Tivoli that I intended to show before Midsummer. But I think you all agree on the fact, that Midsummer is a good enough reason to have a couple of days off from blogging?

So here are the photos from the Tivoli Gardens which are a famous amusement park in Copenhagen. According to the Danish, it's the second oldest amusement park in the world. So sit back, relax and have a good ride through the pictures!

Many of you readers probably know that I'm crazy for peacocks and it just so happened that I managed to encounter one in Tivoli, what are the odds? This is definately the most beautiful bird in the world, don't you agree?

We decided to have dinner at this amazing restaurant called Pirateriet that looked like a pirate ship! Ahoy, me hearties!

I even tried some Jamaican beer called Red Stripe, it was good!

We also saw some children that played a Royal play with a princess and prince getting on a small boat and rowing around the small lake located inside the Tivoli Gardens.

In the end, we couldn't resist their Mojitos either...but come on, these umbrellas are super cute! What is your favorite cocktail?

Do you enjoy amusement parks? What is their best feature?

What's your opinion?
