Live daringly, boldly, fearlessly. Taste the relish to be found in competition.
Thanks to the fact that my last competition received such a positive reaction from you readers, I decided to put together another jewelry competition when I heard about the Digidi bracelets that the new web shop called Shopista has started to sell as the first in Helsinki. I was even more positively surprised when I heard that Shopista wanted to organize a competition on my blog, so it's my pleasure to announce this bracelet competition where one of you dear readers have the chance to win a beautiful Digidi bracelet of your choice!
Digidi bracelets have got their inspiration from Nialaya jewelry, which original makers were Tibetan buddhist monks. The idea behind the bracelet is to illustrate the key notions of buddhism like karma and wellbeing, but at the same time it symbolizes the trinity of body, speech and mind. Nowadays the bracelets adapt according to their users and emphasize each user's individual style. The bracelets are also called Buddha bracelets.
Depending on the style, color and shape, each bracelet has an individual meaning. This is the reason why many of today’s celebrities wear these bracelets for their own beliefs.
My personal favorite colors of the Digidi bracelets are the three I've chosen for myself that you can see in the first photo of this blog post: gold, silver (white) and black.
Why? Because according to Shopista, white stands for purity, wisdom and freshness. Gold, like yellow, is a optimistic, charismatic and happy color. Black, on the other hand, is the color of respect and it's a defense color. I love the combination of these three bracelets, but find them to be equally elegant when you wear merely one. I combined the bracelets today with my vintage kimono, somehow I thought they went well together. You can read more about Helsinki Vintage, the event where I bought the kimono, in this blog post.
Which is your favorite among the bracelet colors?
