Sometimes, you have to look back in order to understand the things that lie ahead.

Since my blog is turning a stunning five years old in just merely two weeks, I thought I would take this opportunity to ask you readers about what you have liked the most about my blog so far. This, so I can plan better the future of my blog. The birthday, which is a true personal milestone for me, will perforce bring some changes to the blog so I would like to hear your thoughts on what direction the blog should take. I started out having no themes at all for this blog, but eventually I noticed that I was always writing about seven themes: Helsinki, inspiration, outfit, new in, interior, travel and work. Later on, I created these tags to help you readers to easier find blog posts of your interest. So this blog post is definitely dedicated to you readers, and I hope you'll use your voice to influence the blog's future.

Uncertainty and mystery are energies of life. Don't let them scare you unduly, for they keep boredom at bay and spark creativity.

After three days at school talking about business strategies within tourism, thesis research methods and project management, it has been lovely to enjoy a Sunday of pure relax. I was awakened by rain drops hitting against our bedroom window, and I've spent most of the day admiring the ongoing change in the nature on our balcony cozying up with a cup of tea and a blanket. I found a video showcasing the stunning Finnish autumn we have ahead of us, and I thought I would share it with you readers who haven't still had the pleasure of visiting us here in the North. We live up on a hill surrounded by trees so I love watching them as their leaves swirl in the wind. Somehow I find watching nature very calming and relaxing, but at the same time incredibly inspiring. As I mentioned in an earlier blog post that you'll find here, one of the fall trends that have caught my attention the best are the autumnal floral patterns.
