The blog turns 5 years!

Your life is like a balloon...if you never let yourself go, you will never know how far you can rise.

Today as I find myself in Gothenburg on the last day during my one-week-business trip, my blog is celebrating its five-year-anniversary! I couldn't be prouder of where I am with my blog, and I'm looking forward to what the future will bring. My mind is full of great ideas I've got here during this amazing World Food Travel Summit 2013, and I'll share my experiences with you as soon as I get home. A birthday is always a great opportunity slow down and reflect on how things have evolved with time. Like I've mentioned in earlier blog posts, this birthday will change some of the things in my blog. I'll tell about those changes as you face them.

However, I wanted to take this chance to ask you how many of you follow my blog also on Facebook and/or Instagram? What kind of status updates and photos would you like to see there? Right now the Facebook page has been something I've updated on a daily basis, with quotes and fun news that have caught my attention during the day. I've also shared my mood of the day there. I know some of you readers don't have Facebook, so I would gladly hear what you think about this.

On Instagram I've showed some pictures from "behind the scenes": more everyday photos than on the blog that is.

I've also thought that I would stop using GFC, and ask all my blog readers to follow me on Bloglovin. What do you think about that? How many of you already follow me through Bloglovin? Is that the way you prefer to read blogs?

What's your opinion?

  3. Even if I'm just a recent reader, I wish a happy birthday to this blog. I'm looking forward to see the new things you've prepared!
I had the intention to follow you through GFC, and I'm not a Bloglovin user. But well, I can still visit your blog every now and then without being a proper 'follower' if you stop using GFC. It wouldn't make a big difference.

    Enjoy Gothenburg and take care!

  4. congrats again, Elisabeth!
I'm not a fan of FB. I go there, yes but I'm not very active there.. and I don't have an Instagram account. but how do I read your posts then? via GFC, to be honest. I also have my blog list in Bloglovin' but I still prefer GFC to Bloglovin'. as long as there is GFC I will probably keep using it.
