DIY: Flower pot with stripes

Helsinki, 15 degrees

A person born to be a flower pot will not go beyond the porch.

I don't even remember when I've last written a DIY blog post. Sometimes, however, I do get these wild ideas. One morning when I looked at one of our white flower pots from Ikea, I immediately knew that I wanted to transform it. I recently bought a black pen from the interior store Granit. This pen enables writing on glass, mirrors and other clean surfaces like porcelain. The nice fact about this particular pen is that one can remove its print by simply using a wet wipe. I've used the pen for writing on our white notice board and wine glasses when I had friends over for Valentine's Day. I really liked having our names on the glasses. This time however, I used it for our flower pot to add stripes to it.

En edes muista milloin olisin viimeksi kirjoittanut DIY:n tyyppisen blogikirjoituksen.

How often do you do DIY projects? What do you think of the result?

Miten usein askartelette kotona? Mitä mieltä olette lopputuloksesta?

What's your opinion?

  1. I love DIY projects, this looks really cute and I've wanted to get a plant in my room for ages so when I do I will try the stripes out! x

  10. I'm not a DIYer at all!

Actually the title of this post made me laugh - I spent the first 15 years of my life living in a farming community called... Flowerpot. On the other side of the world.

You have a beautiful blog here - now I have to work out how to subscribe ;)
