Lillan Helsinki

Helsinki, 15 degrees

In the kingdom of glass everything is transparent, and there is no place to hide a dark heart.

What a weekend! I've been busy with my senior high school class reunion (can you believe it's been 10 years already since I graduated from senior high school?), my Cleaning Day flea market and hosting international bloggers. In Finland, we say that summertime starts when we have more than 10 degrees also during nighttime, so we are on the threshold of summer! Summertime is filled with lovely celebrations (parties, graduations, and weddings), and therefore I'm thrilled over my recent collaboration with the interesting Finnish jewelry label called Lillan Helsinki. Lillan in Swedish for small and this is brand is a true gem so the name is quite appropriate.

Lillan Helsinki stands for minimalist Finnish quality and handmade design. Jewelry maker (how cool is this profession?!) Sari Isosomppi believes in the fact that we need individual jewelry because we are all unique. Timeless jewelry with clear lines is her thing. She mainly uses silver as her material, but I was thrilled to be able to select my own pieces from her Pompom collection! Why? In this collection, she has combined silver with glass! The inspiration comes from Finnish nature, of course. Visiting Union Design's shop, close by to Helsinki's Market Square, I fell in love with the flamboyant colors of the jewelry. By now, however, you know I love white so I ended up picking a pair of white earrings and a white ring. They reminded me of small snowballs, how cute! But I already know that I want to grow my collection of Pompom rings because each of the 40 shades is stunning! Especially the red ones remind me of berries, amazing! Lillan Helsinki's jewelry is also sold in Helsinki's Nudge.

What's your opinion?

  1. These pieces are really so amazing, so delicate and chic! I loved the earrings and the ring - the pearl ring, my favorite piece! I would love to have that ring, I simply love pearls! Your top is so sweet, I like peplum and you look so beautiful - I liked the lipstick color!
