7 reasons I'm fascinated with space

In the space between chaos and shape there was another chance.

Today at lunch, I had a conversation about space with my colleagues. It's a topic that I find myself thinking about from time to time, always with the same amount of fascination. I, therefore, thought that I would share my personal reasons why:

Tänään lounaalla, juttelin kollegoideni kanssa avaruudesta. Avaruus on asia, jota mietin silloin tällöin, aina yhtä lumoissani. Näinpä ajattelin jakaa omia syitä miksi asia kiinnostaa: 

1) There is only that much that science can explain - the rest is there for us to wonder upon / tiede pystyy vain selittämään tiettyyn pisteeseen asti avaruuden faktoja

2) The perspective it gives to life on planet earth - the biggest problem on earth seems small when one thinks about from a spacial perspective / näkökulma, jota avaruus antaa maailman asioihin ja ongelmiin

3) Stars & Northern lights and other phenomena - during the last two night we've been lucky enough to see Northern lights in Helsinki! / tähdet, revontulet ja muut luonnonilmiöt

4) Its sense of calmness - space's extremity has a calming effect on me / sen tarjoama rauha

5) It reminds us that the earth is amazing - just look how beautiful it is! / se muistuttaa meitä maailman mahtavuudesta

6) Commander Hadfield's video could be the greatest music video of all time - no matter how many times I've seen it, it still amazes me / komentaja Hadfieldin video on ehkä maailman paras musiikkivideo
