Hard Rock Café Helsinki

Helsinki, 7 degrees

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night! There ain't no second chance against the thing with forty eyes, girl - thriller, thriller night - you're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight!

Hard Rock Café Helsinki, Hallelujah! Partly borrowed from Finnish singer Lordi, who won the Eurovision Song Contest for us back in 2006, this sentence is mandatory right now! Finally, we have witnessed the day when the anticipated Hard Rock Café has seen the light and opened its doors in Helsinki! For years there have been speculations about the restaurant opening here, and now when we yesterday finally had the pleasure of joining an evening meant especially for friends & family to test the restaurant, I must admit that it was thrilling to step inside the restaurant.

The unique feature about this Hard Rock Café, that officially opened today, is that it has all its 200 customer seats on one floor so that everybody eating at the restaurant can follow live music performances on the stage which is located in the front part of the restaurant. Seeing as I am a huge Michael Jackson fan, I was excited when I saw that the mask, that he used in the music video "Thriller", decorated one of the walls at our HRC.

I must say that the best part of Hard Rock Cafés for me are the cocktails! The strawberry daiquiris and Mojitos are the best! The food portions are all American - gigantic!

The Helsinkiana inside of me is overjoyed by all the Helsinki merchandise which is available at the Hard Rock Café!

Hard Rock Café Helsinki couldn't have a better location - it's located in the very heart of the capital!

I wore my new autumnal white/purple/burgundy dress by H&M and khaki green parka jacket by Ellos. I'm in love with both!

How has your week started? Do you like Hard Rock Cafés?

  1. we have a hard rock cafe in Tallinn but it's 150 km from my home town and I haven't been there. though I would love to, especially the day after tomorrow since The Rasmus is playing there but I can't. anyway, I really like The Rasmus and HIM. I and my fiance saw HIM in live some years ago.
by the way, that burger with bulky french fries looks yummy! and your colourful dress is gorgeous, suitable for every season.
now, when it comes to my new header the thing was I kind of won a giveaway hosted by one of my blogger friends and that's the result. I chose the photos and the fact they have to be round (I showed her an example). I also picked the type for the letters and the pastel shades. and then she did it like I wanted and I like the result. oh, when it comes to headers I'm not sure if I have said it already but I love your new header made by Akiko (I checked out her blog but could not order my header from her).

Thank you for your kind compliment concerning my dress and header! :) How come you couldn't order yours from Akiko? How nice that you won your header, congratulations!
